DRUG FREE POLICY
As a matter of policy, MediaTech Institute prohibits the unlawful manufacture, possession,
use, sale, dispensation, or distribution of controlled substances, and the possession or use
of alcohol by students and employees on its property and/or at any school activity. Further
information on the school’s policies can be found in the Student Handbook. Any violation of
these policies can result in appropriate disciplinary action including expulsion of students and
termination of employees. Violations of the law will also be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. Students or employees may also be referred to abuse help centers. If such a referral
is made, continued enrollment or employment will be subject to successful completion of any
prescribed counseling or treatment program. Information on the school’s drug-free awareness
program, and drug and alcohol abuse prevention program, may be obtained from the Office at your local campus.
