Subject Description:
Students will be introduced to advance graphic creation techniques, compositing, digital effects and the fundamentals of Surround Sound and DVD authoring.
Performance Objectives:
Demonstrate advanced titling and graphic techniques
Define and demonstrate digital film compositing
Utilize color correction image enhancement techniques
Creating and integrating motion graphics
Define the fundamentals of 5.1 Surround Sound
Demonstrate DVD authoring and fulfillment
Prerequisites:
Must successfully complete: DFP201

Week 1: Adobe Photoshop CS
Week 2: Adobe After Effects
Week 3: Advanced Titling, Layering, Matting, Keying
Week 4: Advanced Effects, Filters, Motion, Color Keys, Alpha Channels
Week 5: Animating, Masking, and Keying
Week 6: Color Correction, Animation
Week 7: Motion
Week 8: Motion Graphics, Adobe After Effects and Motion
Week 9: Shake
Week 10: Advanced Audio Techniques, 5.1 Surround Sound
Week 11: DVD authoring
