JOB TITLE: Web & Interactive Media Design Instructor

MediaTech Institute is currently seeking instructors for our Web & Interactive Media Design
curriculum. The successful candidates will leverage a progressive design philosophy with unsurpassed technical proficiency to deliver a curriculum that prepares graduates for a
career in interactive multimedia.
 
Requirements:
 
- Industry experience in digital design, interactive media or equivalent.
- A mastery of interactive tools and technologies: Flash (Actionscript 3 preferred)
, Dreamweaver, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, C++, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL,
Quicktime S erver, Unix,  
- A body of work that demonstrates an understanding of solid design principles and
visual aesthetics with a critical understanding of user experience, information
design, and conceptual thinking.
- Ability to embrace and develop content for digital media delivery systems.
- Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary environment preferred.
